So what does the Colorguard do? You ask.
Well, we our part of the marching band and we perform with the Winter Springs High School Band of Gold at all home and away football games, pep rallies and the Homecoming Parade. We currently have 14 members including Freshman, Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors. Our season begins in July with 2 weeks of Band and Colorguard camp (alot of hard work in the heat!) which leads us into the fall season.
Our performance are choreographed including dance and spin either with a flag, rifle, or sabre to a musical piece performed by the Band of Gold. Our Colorguard Director is Mr. Tim Gallagher, Our Choreographer is Ms. Michelle Coit, and Our Technical Instructor is Ms. Claudia Vargas. We also have a Winter Guard season following the Fall season.
